Sydney Carlin is a Democratic member of the Kansas House of Representatives, representing the 66th district. She has served since 2003.

Carlin is a member of a number of community organizations, including the American Cancer Society, American Legion Society, Fraternal Order of the Police, Habitat for Humanity, Heart Association, and the Manhattan Arts Center.[1] Prior to being elected to the Kansas House, Carlin served on the Manhattan City Commission, 1993-97 and mayor of Manhattan, 1996-97.[2]
